Karen M. Sicner is the founding principal of KSGW Architects, formerly, Sicner Planning & Design, Inc., and was previously a principal of a 250-person A/E firm. Ms. Sicner earned a Masters of Architecture degree from Georgia Institute of Technology, and has over twenty-five years of experience in practicing Architecture on a wide variety of building types, including offices, government, and criminal justice facilities. Karen is a licensed Architect in numerous states and is NCARB Certified.
Ms. Sicner has been responsible for designing or managing approximately 800 million dollars in construction in ten years, and is well respected for her ability to get the job done without losing sight of her client's objectives. Her thorough understanding of the architectural, engineering, operational, and security components of a building is an essential skill in developing a program and design that enhances a client's operational philosophy in a cost-effective manner.
